STREET ANGELS

“On the frigid blustery beautiful Christmas Day the Annjenette Foundation was busy out on the streets to assist with providing comfort, a hot meal and warmth to those they could find. Since Annjenette's passing Suzy and Chris (Annjenettes parents) on Christmas Day make meals, pack up their car with much needed winter gear and JetPacks to do outreach. This is their gift to Annjenette their Dear Angel.  Suzy and Chris this year made meals of hot hearty oatmeal, boiled eggs, pumpkin roll, cookies, protein shake and water. They handed out winter coats, hats, gloves, emergency blankets, tents, car hart hoodies and snow pants to individuals they found. Each one feeling blessed and very appreciative to all that was provided. Suzy, Chris, their Family and the Annjenette Foundation are very blessed to have all of you in our lives. Due to your continued dedication, love and support we are able to provide wishes for kids diagnosed with cancer and support to their families. We are able to provide outreach to those who have fallen on hardtimes and/or dealing with mental illness. It is a blessing to continue to keep Annjenettes Memory Alive and her last wishes met!”

ANNUAL JET PACK EVENT

The Annjenette Foundation was established in memory of Annjenette "Jet" Cole and her passion to help others.  Jet passed away after a courageous battle with liver cancer, where she continued to help and bless others.  Continuing Jet's spirit, the first Saturday of November is the annual "Jet Pack" event, where volunteers give out personal care items, blankets, coats, hats, gloves and a lunch.  Jet started this event in 2015, just two weeks before she passed away.  The Annjenette Foundation continues this annual event in honor of Jet while serving families of cancer patients.

HELPING FULFILL A BUCKET WISH LIST

Choosing to live every moment becomes paramount when a cancer patient is diagnosed terminally.  The Annjenette Foundation wants to make sure EVERY cancer patient can fulfill something on the bucket list - whether big or small.  This may be the last memory the family has with their loved one outside of the sterile hospital walls.  It is a priceless time that too few families have the opportunity to take because of the cost.

SUPPORTING CANCER FAMILIES

Parents often have to choose between meeting the growing needs of their sick child and maintaining the needs of their healthy children.  The Annjenette Foundation is changing this by coming alongside parents to help keep life "normal" for siblings.  Siblings continue their school commitments, sports teams, music production, volunteering and other activities that bring life in such a challenging season of life.  The connections and community that blossoms from this support continues long a loved one has won the battle or gained their wings.  They have an experience and are compelled to give back and often continue supporting the Annjenette Foundation.
